path sharing factor and splitter size parameters change the result of the high level design (cable route). Can any one explain how to select the right parameters?

Hello!
Depending on the structure of the network, these parameters are used differently.
The path sharing factor parameter is determining the value of the reduction of the cost of a route section that has already been used. If the parameter is lower, more cables are connected to the same route. If this parameter is equal to 1, the cost of the paths will not be reduced.
The splitter size parameter means a splitter that will be used in the nodes with 'FINAL' type.
In this way you can check out for yourself which parameters will best optimize your network.
